FOOD EXPO Greece is the largest regional international Food and Beverage exhibition in Southeastern Europe! The 22,000<\/strong> sq.m., the 580<\/strong> exhibitors, the 35,000<\/strong> Greek professional visitors, as well as the massive attendance of hundreds of important foreign buyers from 39 countries<\/strong> at the 2nd FOOD EXPO held in March 2015, demonstrated the enormous potential of the exhibition. FOOD EXPO Greece is capable of gathering the vast majority of companies in the industry and playing a leading role in the exhibition events of our country!<\/p>

Building on this success, FORUM S.A. is moving forward with the organization of the 3rd FOOD EXPO, which will take place 19-21 March 2016<\/strong> at METROPOLITAN EXPO<\/strong>. Maintaining the same quality standards, with an even higher advertising budget, utilizing new technologies, and applying innovative international exhibition promotion strategies, the 3rd FOOD EXPO 2016<\/strong> will achieve even greater success, as it is expected to host more than 900 exhibitors<\/strong> and attract a large number of important Greek and foreign buyers.<\/p><\/td>

FOOD EXPO 2015: Visitor Analysis<\/strong>
The 2nd FOOD EXPO Greece 2015 managed to attract 35,000 Greek professionals<\/strong>\u00a0visitors, as well as 850 important foreign buyers<\/strong>\u00a0from 39 countries<\/strong>. Of these, 290 actually participated in the exhibition’s hospitality program. At FOOD EXPO 2016, the number of hosted buyers will exceed 420!<\/strong>
The presence of Greek visitors is particularly significant, as the 2nd FOOD EXPO 2015<\/strong>\u00a0was visited by 35,000 professionals<\/strong>\u00a0from 15,000 businesses<\/strong>\u00a0in Organized Retailing<\/strong>, Wholesale Trade<\/strong>, and Mass Catering<\/strong>\u00a0from all over the country. This large attendance proves that FOOD EXPO Greece is not only an exhibition for exports, but also equally meets the needs of the entire Greek market.<\/p>

At the 3rd FOOD EXPO 2016<\/strong>, for the first time in Greece, buyers from large supermarket chains and major wholesalers will have an organized presence in their own specially designed area, where they will hold B2B meetings with exhibitors.<\/div>

The promotion of the unique gastronomic and nutritional value of Greek foods and beverages, their dominant position in the Mediterranean diet pyramid, and their export prospects in the global market are the main themes of the parallel events that will be organized as part of the 3rd FOOD EXPO 2016.
