FOOD EXPO Greece is the largest regional international Food and Beverage exhibition in Southeastern Europe! The 22,000 sq.m., the 580 exhibitors, the 35,000 Greek professional visitors, as well as the massive attendance of hundreds of important foreign buyers from 39 countries at the 2nd FOOD EXPO held in March 2015, demonstrated the enormous potential of the exhibition. Building on this success, FORUM S.A. is moving forward with the organization of the 3rd FOOD EXPO, which will take place 19-21 March 2016 at METROPOLITAN EXPO. FOOD EXPO 2015: Visitor Analysis
The 2nd FOOD EXPO Greece 2015 managed to attract 35,000 Greek professionals visitors, as well as 850 important foreign buyers from 39 countries. Of these, 290 actually participated in the exhibition’s hospitality program. At FOOD EXPO 2016, the number of hosted buyers will exceed 420!
The presence of Greek visitors is particularly significant, as the 2nd FOOD EXPO 2015 was visited by 35,000 professionals from 15,000 businesses in Organized Retailing, Wholesale Trade, and Mass Catering from all over the country. This large attendance proves that FOOD EXPO Greece is not only an exhibition for exports, but also equally meets the needs of the entire Greek market.

Rich Thematic Events
The promotion of the unique gastronomic and nutritional value of Greek foods and beverages, their dominant position in the Mediterranean diet pyramid, and their export prospects in the global market are the main themes of the parallel events that will be organized as part of the 3rd FOOD EXPO 2016. Specifically, the exhibition will host the following special events:
• Mediterranean Food Experience – A panorama of gastronomic events
A three-day gastronomy festival will be hosted at the 3rd FOOD EXPO, with countless interesting events and activities aimed at showcasing the gastronomic richness and nutritional value of the Mediterranean diet.
• Food Seminars – As part of the 3rd FOOD EXPO, a series of important short presentations with substantial relevance for Greek producers, retailers, distributors, and organized retail will be hosted.
